They are a voice to text feature away from killing off my CarPlay arguments. THIS is honestly awesome. I’m one of Wassym’s biggest critics around here and I can’t help but applaud…

But it’s still missing CarPlay 🤪

Even though it doesn't say it, I REALLY hope that this isn't tied to a C+ subscription. Waze is the primary reason I keep my phone mounted on the dash. This looks like it will come close to meeting my needs.

Will be perfect timing if I can get it before I head out to Colorado from So Cal at Thanksgiving-time.

I might be taking that same trip around the same time as well!

Waze was one of the reasons why I used CarPlay. I just hope we’re able to receive alerts without actively navigating to a destination. I open my iPhone now while driving and launch Waze just to receive the alerts.

I'm gonna hate this update unless it shows wazers that I'm king.

Ha!! I plan on leaving the Friday before Thanksgiving and coming back the day after Thanksgiving. Actually traveling to Boulder area. This way I can avoid the worst of the holiday traffic. I'll have to flex my departures if it's actively snowing in the Rockies as I-70 can close or require chains (from what I hear) and I only have 21 all-season tires.

Having Waze in the native nav would be perfect for this drive (about 1000 miles). Unfortunately I plan on using Tesla superchargers as they are the best price (with subscription) and also trying out the couple of Ionna chargers en-route. Researching my options now to be prepared!

Cool! Yeah, same here, 21” all-season tires. I’ll be traveling to the Boulder/Fort Collins area most likely. My travel hasn’t been finalized yet though - hoping it will be by October though.

I only believe about 25% of what Wass says, but if this does actually materialize (and soon) it will be a really welcome addition. Don't get me wrong, Waze is really great, but by far the speed trap warnings are it's stand-out feature!
