I agree the R1S is a very handsome vehicle, even more than the R1T. I have the R1T on order but if the R1T wasn't available I would seriously be considering the R1S to replace my Honda Pilot. Like someone else said, current car designers have erred too far in direction of lots of weird angles on the cars. Toyota is one of the worst - they used to have very nice looking vehicles, not they are not to my taste at all. I guess it's all about trying to look different and "newer" than the old models, but Rivian doesn't have to worry about looking more modern than a previous model, they can just focus on developing clean lines, which they have done well at. Also, better visibility out of the vehicle and more usable interior space. I think the R1S would be great for someone who wanted to car camp without a tent, not to mention more regular hauling of people, pets, and miscellaneous items.

This is my #1 reason for wanting to see them in person. I'm reserved for Blue, but I need to see Canyon Red before my delivery in 6 months, hopefully.
Canyon Red was an absent color, same with the Limestone. I am not a red fan, and I leased a red mazda just to feel the color, but can't do it. I am too "blue" to switch to red.

Anyway, to your point, you got to see them in person, I have to see a picture that justifies the colors.

I love both, but the R1S has a slightly off back end, a bit of junk in the trunk and the black roof in the back should maybe match the paint color and have a less sharp angle.

Good Grief, Nebula is phenomenal. What kind of bribes do you all think it would take to get Rivian to adopt it?

Agree! When I see a Mazda these days in red, I recognize it from a mile away. It’s the bomb!
