April - May 2022 Delivery Club/Hype Thread

I specifically asked since my dates for from May to June if it was going to be "JUNE" and I was told its the first portion because I need to plan for a contingency if its looking towards the end of June.

I got the same estimate for my May-June R1S. I am not sure it means much except to lay out an aspirational goal for delivery, given that R1S deliveries really haven’t started.

Now with that being said, who knows what it could be right? Jan/Feb is now March/April haha. I sure do hope they stick with the Original time table otherwise things kind of mess up my June.

I sold my Audi LAST March after both tubos blew and I thought my Rivian was coming no later than end of year. I feel your pain

...per the OP request...here we go, as a way to introduce myself to my home thread!

• You need to drive to the grocery store. Drive mode? Ride height?
  • I will drive to the grocery store with the truck maxed out on height in sport mode every time! Around town driving is not for low and "efficient" drive modes...it is for having fun while you drive and take care of all those honey do lists (happily now)! Launching on every green light to leave the competition in awe because the truck makes no noise is something I look forward to! I live in the south, rednecks have loud and lifted trucks...they will not know what just happened!
• How will pass the next eight months waiting for your vehicle delivery?
  • Thankfully I believe I am down to 8 weeks now! It is very slow going I do have two weeks in Hawaii coming up very soon, maybe I'll get to run into Garrett Marrero at his Kihei location and he will take me for a ride in his R1T (if he has taken a quiet delivery already).
• Will you show off your LE to strangers who ask, or is that weird?
  • Absolutely I will show it off, if I have the time...there will be enough information provided to make them even more interested and go look things up! Gotta drive up the public interest, I have stock that needs to go up!

I continue to hold my fingers crossed for those of us that have April/May targets. My config is below in my signature. I hope we are on our way to getting ours S[=0===0=]N!

Hey, another San Antonian! Thought I was all alone. And same configuration!

No guide yet. I reached out to CS 3/6/22 and was told still on track for April-May. Was told to expect guide contact 4/1-5/1.

I found out last night the website had a guide listed under support. And got an email this morning!

Guide assigned (discovered via web account) but no email. But if you go into the app and choose customer support it shows the guide and allows you to automatically add them as a contact. Hopefully I can now stop taking calls about my car warranty expiring....

I wish, and I'm very jealous. Supposed to take delivery no later than May 1st, according to CS.
