What exterior color/interior color have you configured? I would assume with a reservation date of November 2018 you will be up pretty soon, but wonder if the colors you selected is causing a delay. And I wouldn’t worry about the delivery timing estimate tool. I am guessing it won’t be up and running until after you get your truck.
Its Rivian Blue with Black Interior.
If that's the case, I hope someone from Rivian can reach out with options, that we can get you your truck if you chose Launch Green or another color etc.

Starting in a similar position as you, I THINK I've put myself in the best compromise I can by simultaneously having a GMC Canyon on order, as initially strange as that may sound.

I need a truck, prefer a mid-sized. Each vehicle has a pretty big list of things I want that the other does not have. In the case of the Rivian, some of them honestly seem a little inexplicable in a vehicle at this price, but I can learn to live without. My wife and friends have laughed/been amazed at the length of the list of the pro's and con's of each, from the major (ICE/BEV) to the trivial (no place for sunglasses?) but none have disagreed when listed out and explained.

If the Rivian shows up first, it will be easy, I'll take it. Even if I register it and drive it and decide its minuses for me outweigh its pluses it would be easy to sell for at least a break even. If the Canyon shows up first, I couldn't say that after paying sales tax and registration fees even if didn't depreciate terribly. But mentally I believe I'm prepared to be happy with either and I'll be able to focus on the positives of whichever one I'm driving whilst dwelling mentally on the negatives of the one I didn't get. Does that sound about right, Dr. Freud?

Interesting. Timesinks truck is Rivian Blue with Black Mountain interior and his was delivered March 8th In Seattle. I bet a guide calls you before the end of the month to tell you that your truck is ready. You are almost there. From what I can tell from reviews, your three year plus wait will be worth it.

For once I find myself in a good position in the Rivian debacle. I pre-ordered an R1T Explore on November 28, 2018. My delivery window is the first half of 2023.

We often tow our Airstream Travel trailer. We need a truck. Fortunately, we purchased a brand Silverado Duramax in March of 2020. This puts us in an excellent position to wait out our Rivian delivery. If the Rivian deal goes sideways or gets moved back a year or two, we should be able to get one of the new Silverado Electrics if we decide that is a better option.

I will just be waiting out to see how it goes.
