I was tempted but took the lease…hoping my stable 3 years in the future will be the R1S and a Polestar 5, but loving our P*2.
I bought mine because I am waiting for max pack. When I purchased the P*2 there was still no timeline for my preorder R1T max pack. Now I have first half ‘23 time Frame. But if Rivian offered an upgrade to their motors and either included 800v or added upgrade I would take it. I mean I have waited since 11/2018 so why not a bit longer.

I'm reading that all registrants have to be present to accept delivery. Hard for my wife to leave the hospital that early. Asking my guide if one signer would be enough, or if we can just remove her from the title. Anybody came across this issue? @AdamL @godfodder0901
We were both there for signing.

You should be able to get a limited power of attorney completed. We have done that in the past.

One week from being contacted by Guide and then switching both delivery locations and wheels, today I received my VIN and 8-step for the 'adjusted' vehicle (LE, LG, BM dark 20" wheels). It's all completed now and assume vehicle is close by (Denver)...?
Congrats! When was your pre-order?

As far as I can tell there have been few if any deliveries into New England. I haven’t heard of any guide contact to a NE reservation holder either.

Maybe, like much of America, the Rivian guys hate the Patriots?
As evidenced by my Handle I am not "from" NE so I am not necessarily rabid bout the Patriots either. How do I communicate that to Rivian?

Arrived at 90% charge but topping off to take a long first drive tonight ? very excited.

I'm shocked and happily surprised Rivian made the March delivery timeframe. Really thought I'd be waiting still. Delivery was smooth and easy. I'll probably spend the rest of the day playing around and learning the truck.
I love your charger! I have beenlooking for the right old gas pump for years to make something like this for my charger.

I keep reading that people are “deleting” certain accessories in order to prevent any further delays, but when I asked my guide about this, he said that they played no part in the delivery timeframe. I have the kitchen and tent ordered as well as some other stuff, and I told him I understand they might not be delivered with the vehicle, so I’m a little confused.

They don't know when they (the tent and kitchen) will be ready, so they will be removed from your order, i.e. you won't/can't pay for them now. You will be able to purchase later at, supposedly, the pre-March 1 price. They should never delay delivery of the vehicle; I think there was a slight misunderstanding.

What's odd is my guide is MIA. He hasn't responded to my texts for a few days. I found out about my delivery by email from rivian.
On Friday he had said the truck was still in production, but he had gotten the VIN early for me so I can complete the steps. Then last night I get the email that it's ready for delivery. Is it possible it was built over the weekend, sent on a train to CA all in a few days?

I'm still waiting on PBA after Guide contact last Monday :(

At first she said it had already been sent, then last Thursday said "looks like there's something wrong with our system, I will be getting you that agreement within the next week or so." I followed up yesterday and got "As soon as I get an update I will let you know."

Just really weird to be waiting on a simple step that everyone else seems to be blowing by :(

.....I don't think I'll ever be satisfied until I'm contacted by my guide and have an approximate delivery date. Completely satisfied when I receive my truck and it works! ?
The above is a post I made several months back. Come Monday, March 28,2022, (my scheduled delivery day) there's a high probability I'll be completely satisfied. Thanks to Rivian, my Guide, and all of you.

Same boat. I was told last week I should be able to take delivery by the end of the month, but haven’t received the PBA as of today. I reached out to my Guide yesterday and was told he is trying to find my truck and will update me as soon as he can. I guess I’ll just wait a little bit longer.
