I agree, whatever is at the delivery centers will be shipped out. After 4/1, I bet we get 60 days of quiet. Then another mad rush to cram as many deliveries in Q2 as possible.

i'll take that bet.

I do think it ramps down a bit because they won't be sitting on the thousand+ vehicles we saw in the drone footage. However they will continue a steady stream of shipments and we may see an EOQ push. what we won't see is silence though April and May.

That is possible but seems to me they were waiting for that last software build to be ready. It had a lot of big changes in it they wanted in the deliveries.

I think it will take some time to get through the backlog of builds they have completed to be deployed. Things May slow down but I do not think there will be a large gap. They have to get to a sustainable delivery flow to match the build flow.

Any changes made in the newer system will not be reflected when the old version is restored. The old version appears to be restored within 24 hours of guide contact
In my experience, thats not how it worked. After the March 1st pricing fiasco and promise to revert I contemplated what I wanted and did make a change from LG to Rivian Blue and removed the wall charger. Was assigned and spoke with my guide on Monday 3/21 for the first time and my configuration was locked in. The changes I made were still there and at the original pricing. The color did not revert nor did the charger get put back on. And the guide was calling me because they had a truck ready that matched my configuration, changes and all.

My recommendation would be to make your changes that you want right now before you get contacted or assigned a guide. Because when the guide calls/gets assigned, so far it has been because they have a truck that matches the current configuration and is pretty much ready to be delivered in days. You can make changes when you speak with them, but you'll push your delivery out. It's of course not how they advertised this guide program to work but at this time seems like what it has evolved into.

Annoyingly this is definitely not what CS is saying. I'm not saying you're wrong, but this is actually one thing they seem to be consistent about.

As of this past weekend, my configuration had not been restored. I did my First Drive on Saturday in a LG truck and loved it, so went it and changed my config to LG. As of yesterday, my config is now locked (i.e., can only make changes through the guide) and old pricing is shown. So you can make changes before the reversion and still get the original pricing.

The weird part for me is that I still don't have a guide assigned. I haven't seen others in the same situation, and not exactly sure what to make of it other than to just be patient.

The day that my configuration was locked, I clicked on the "?" and it showed my assigned guide with contact information. Wouldn't have known otherwise. So I emailed her and she called me back the next day.

Just in case you haven't clicked on the ?...

Thanks - tried and it didn’t work. I just get the three options to contact CS (chat/email/call). But I’ll try about 15-20 times per day until it changes!

This is what I've resorted to, usually only 2-3 times a day lol.

Looks like what is consistent is inconsistency...seems to be no method in their madness, except if you desire to switch to BM interior...

What is the consensus thought on forest edge interior, Will it begin deliveries the same month as Ocean coast or will it be even further out? I have MAY/ June estimate with forest edge configured. I'm not sure my emotional state can weather this whole black mountain ocean coast situation again. I just read 6 pages of "Ocean Coast Delayed?" thread seemingly about plungers at Home Depot and all I could think was "dark place indeed!"

Nobody knows. Rivian won't tell us anything. I've been trying to get some insight for a while but have absolutely no idea if FE is delayed, or will ship within our windows.

The best we can hope for is they finish calling OC interiors soon and start calling FE holders and getting guides assigned to us. At least then we've have a contact point that is likely to be somewhat more informed than CS.

I am not sure if I personally believe they are on track or not. Too much conflicting speculation and too little official information.

It does seem strange that the reports here of guides asking buyers if they want to switch to black interiors were all to buyers w ocean coast configs only.
