This thread has me logging into my Rivian account daily to check if my config is locked and the price has dropped back down. Knowing that I'm at the end of the LE line I can only hope...

What is the consensus thought on forest edge interior, Will it begin deliveries the same month as Ocean coast or will it be even further out? I have MAY/ June estimate with forest edge configured. I'm not sure my emotional state can weather this whole black mountain ocean coast situation again. I just read 6 pages of "Ocean Coast Delayed?" thread seemingly about plungers at Home Depot and all I could think was "dark place indeed!"
Given the LE breakdown of roughly (although many OC orders have jumped to BM)

Rivian R1T R1S May/June Deliveries Thread 1648076239043

My guess is they will switch to batching OC Q2. Then probably at the beginning of Q3 , bang out all the remaining FE.

Assuming no supply issue with the interior and it is a purely a process issue.

Thanks - tried and it didn’t work. I just get the three options to contact CS (chat/email/call). But I’ll try about 15-20 times per day until it changes!
Holy bleep - something worked. Guide now assigned!

That's what I'm afraid of but October would be inconsistent with my May/ June delivery. How easy would it be for Rivian to say BM beginning Q1, OC beginning Q2, FE beginning Q3. At this point I am seriously considering dropping the underbody shielding and FE interior, pocketing $4K and taking earlier. Summer time is exceedingly short in upstate NY and I really want a R1T at least by July. If I knew my Delivery was going to be at least by July left as is I wouldn't change. Unfortunately CS can't help at all regarding delivery timing which is driving me bonkers.

Q3 is july-sept. So i hope that they start in July. And with so few FE, hopefully they can get them all done in July.

HAHA, so it is. Crazy part is I'm not even certain I will like FE better since I've never seen a Rivian in person. The CS agent recommended I visit the Venice Beach showroom thingy... It"s literally on the opposite corner of the country from me!. Anyway apologies for hijacking the thread, soon this will all be a memory and we will be meeting up for Rivian community events with our trucks and SUV's.

I can only tell you, that I prefer the FE interior and have seen it in person. I just don't like it $1,500 more, but despite my looking to purchase a very expensive care, I am frugal.

With all these May/June contacts, y'all have me checking my account multiple times daily.

I was fortunate enough to drive my exact configuration and see the SC here in Denver on March 2nd for a First Mile which, as we all know, was the day after the price hike so it was bittersweet. I loved the vehicle and both LG and BM were great in person (LG much better in person than config and BM not too dark) but the price hike probably pushed it out of affordability for me. Then when I woke up to the price revert email my excitement started back up. I've been eagerly awaiting a guide contact/configuration lock ever since. We're almost there y'all!???

Congrats!

What's interesting is you had a delivery window that seems later than your LE pre-order date would suggest so glad to see yours is coming quite a bit earlier but also more in line with others.

Definitely jealous but happy for you!

For what it’s worth, my original window was with an El Cap/OC config. I changed it about a month ago to BM, and then just changed color to LG over the weekend after my test drive (loved the color in person). So the new config must have changed something in terms of timing because it locked on Monday and then a Guide assigned this evening.

I think getting a Guide is a good sign that things are moving, but then again, who the hell knows. But I feel like something should happen before the July-Sept window I originally received.

While I've obviously never seen FE in person, it appears to be a different green than LG having seen that in person so if it gets you an R1T by this summer, may be worth switching to OC or BM. BUT never a bad thing to wait a little longer to get what you want for color options as you've waited this long and FE may be more exclusive for resale.
My last 3 vehicles in a row, I waited for the dealership to get me the colors and options I wanted and I was glad I did every time.

Gotcha, that makes sense a bit more, good to know.

Right on LG?!?! My fiancee and I both loved it in person. I have been between El Cap and LG the entire time, but that sealed it for me. It was more that we were blown away by LG and not that El Cap was bad by any means.

I just sent a note to CS saying "my pre 3/1 config was the R1S, but I want the truck. If you get an extra LG R1T in Portland, I'm your huckleberry"

A gent one town over w/ May/June got his truck today. Don't know what his preorder date was, or his config.
