In my past life as an infantry platoon leader, using my Javelins to reduce enemy armor was a largely academic endeavor. It's pleasant to see my theories implemented and to see the results of that implementation.

Rivian, please reconsider dropping the removable roof. Took the top off just my side tonight for the first time, driving to the charger since I only have access to a 120v outlet where I am staying (lol)

I have to say, I am definitely going to miss being able to do this in my R1T

They should continue to explore it as a future option assuming it does little to nothing to prevent getting trucks out of the door today. It's not worth any further delays but options for those who will want them (and pay a premium for them) make sense.

You can't measure this in KW/smile, you need to focus on the smiles/minute.

Can you post a picture of CarPlay running on the screen? Some cars only use a portion of the screen for it so I am curious how GMC did it.

Was all low speed roads (50 mph and under) and one WTF launch. In ideal weather and city speeds it'll probably get over 2 mi/kWh

I don't have an apple device but could probably borrow one. I think Android auto takes up everything but the main buttons on the left? I haven't been using it. The built-in google maps with the android automotive has been awesome, because it includes a battery estimate when you arrive at your destination. It has been pretty dang close for all of our trips.
