Why is that? Availability or aesthetics? Sry if I missed prev comment Good luck in any case
I'm rather a stickler regarding color combinations. Forest Green with Forest Edge was too much "green". I originally wanted Limestone with Forest Edge, but that got bashed away with the reveal of Limestone being more blue-gray/pewter than green gray. I was VERY tempted to do Rivian Blue + Ocean Coast interior, but Ocean Coast would get utterly destroyed in the Florida sun, and not to mention it will get dirty or stained just by looking at it. So I decided to save some $$ and go with the black interior and either Forest Green, Rivian Blue, or Silver exterior. I want to see Forest Green in person to see just how green it is. If it's too dark a green, then I'll settle between RB & Silver. Part of me is tempted to just get Silver and paint the truck a custom color of my own choice (something akin to a Purple that fades slowly into Black as you look down from the top or a non-obnoxious Orange).

This Purple is almost perfect.

Now if I could have if fade slowly into shiny black as the color goes from the top of the Rivian towards the bottom, I'd gladly take that :)

Thanks. Good luck.

I’m at FG/FE. Do Worry about the amount of green. I like the pics of OC interiors a lot, expect it would go well with FG but worry even more about how it will hold up. Would give just about anything to see some of these in person to help guide my decision but seems little chance rivian will have any kind of event or showing in the carolinas. Would drive to Atlanta if they had a permanent SC.

The purple would really fit in well in southern lousiana, between Mardi Gras and LSU fans.

Limestone being more blue-gray/pewter than green gray.
You should see it in person, my understanding is that there is no blue in Limestone. Pictures from Iphones seem to give it a blue tint that isn't actually there. (Source, latest Rivian Stories video)

I hope the Orlando location has one. So far I think it's just that Rivian Blue. Either way, I'll be checking a R1T out soon (that or I'll be send to prison breaking into the place ;) )

No blue in Limestone. None. If there is a hint of anything, it might be a very, very slight hint of green to the base, but even that I am skeptical of. It's really just pure neutral grey -- like 15% grey, battleship grey. It is nearly identical to Ford's Cactus Grey (AKA Fighter Jet Grey on some of their cars) but Limestone has metallic flake, where Ford's Cactus/Fighter Jet is non-metallic.

Truly neutral colors like this throw off cameras at times. Our phone cameras love to see green/blue. Our own eyes can often be fooled in changing light conditions and will perceive color traits from the surrounding environment in terms of blue, grey, tan, etc..

It's a great color, but I urge everyone to see it for themselves with their own eyes and not form an opinion based on other peoples cell phone pictures. And Rivian's simulated pictures of Limestone are nowhere close and it's quite sad that they did such a poor job of representing it. The color they were trying to represent would have been a great option as well, although probably too close to what Launch Green turned out to be.

Here are some colors from the same perspective on a sunny day in Denver. I still love the FG. Sadly, I think the limestone was on the semi that just brought 4 more in that day and I just forgot to go walk over that way where they parked. Honestly, all of these are fantastic options to me. The blue may have looked the most dirty when not washed up. In these, FG and LG were the only two that weren't cleaned up from weather.

Don't get my hopes up! I just forced myself to settle and due without Limestone + Forrest Edge (Momma said! ;)). If Limestone does have that hint of green and isn't that light blue-great/pewter, I will lose my CACA and go back to Limestone + Forest Edge.

I like this color the best. What’s it called? It reminds me of trees and Tom Hanks. ?
FUSCHIA! ?

After some dallying I think I'm back to where I started with OC/FG. I like the idea of Limestone but I think you hit the nail on the head here with a cool vehicle needing some color. The flat gray tone isn't really that unique anymore as it seems that every brand has their own take on it now. Very few manufacturers offer a true hunter green like this, so it adds a unique factor to the obvious symbolism of having a green truck that is......green.
It will age very well
