Air hose fitting

Why is the male end of the fitting on the truck?

Am I just over looking something or?
I've had lots of air compressors and hoses and tools. This is backwards from the norm.

I guess I'll create a short pig tail hose with two female ends. Just seems odd to need to do.

I agree, it’s an odd design choice. I planned on making a pigtail, as well, although those fittings always leak, in my experience, so it’s unfortunate that we have to double up the number of leak/failure points.

Didn't see one, but admittedly haven't looked in every cubby. Figured it would be visible or not included.

Not in portable charger case. None of my other accessories have been delivered, other than truck and wall charger.

It only makes pressure on demand. The male end has less that can go wrong with it, I think they are generally a little shorter. Definitely a little weird but it works.

Thanks. F to F hose is there. Seems heavy duty and stifff. Like you'll never get it back in the case if you unwrap it. Case is nice. I still think a pigtail and a better hose is the way to go.

Ordered some flexzilla hose and a couple new strain relief fittings.

If anyone wants the Amazon list let me know.
