Certainly a parts tag of some sort. The QR code is likely used for binning or assembly, hence why scanning it wouldn't provide any useful info.

It’s not a QR code, it’s a 2D barcode. Won’t do anything outside of Rivian’s MRP software probably.

Likely just a part sticker. Could be from anything on the vehicle, from a wire harness to a half shaft. I wouldn't worry about it.

Yeah, it's a 2D format called Data Matrix, not a QR. QR has three finder marks in the corners, Data Matrix does not.

I was able to scan it with an app I have on my phone - it reads:

PT00000708-K21307AOBH-22000286

Basically, the same info printed on the label. No Easter Eggs!
