Forest Edge interior + other photos from Rivian Venice Hub

My partner and I went to see some of the colors in person and I took a few photos -- hope they're useful

Ugh... I wish they had just used the forest edge wood on all three interior colors. The dark wood on black mountain doesn't provide enough contrast, but I don't think I can justify spending $2000 for a green interior on a yellow truck, since I almost certainly won't see either option in person before I have to decide.

Did the two trucks pictured have the underbody protection? I had thought the expected weight was closer to 7k lbs, however the addition of the underbody plate could change that.

Forest Edge and Ocean Coast are SOOOOO much better looking than Black Mountain, and no one can convince me otherwise. I’d never get black mountain. I’ll take the heat.

I think that's a good combo - FE is much lighter than FG, so there is enough tonal contrast for it not to look like a greenwash. Plus that FE wood trim belongs in a double Forest!

completely agree! I saw a double forest R1T at the Venice hub, that convinced me to change my color selection. Now just the long wait for my R1S to arrive sometime next year!

GVWR Is the gross vehicle weight (full losded) not the empty weight.

I took me back to my parents 70's vintage vinyl seats in a Ford LTD....

I suppose extra for FE seats to reminisce the "good ol' days..."

seeing as you are in SoCal, you should head over to the Venice hub and check it out yourself. I fell in love when I saw it! and I typically go for black interiors.
