SoCal Rivian Meetup - June 11th @ Griffith Park

There's a few dozen of us in SoCal now. Ya'll want to plan the first meetup? I'd be curious to compare notes with other R1T owners and see how things work on your vs mine. Guessing might be only 2 or 3 of us at the first one but we could get something started. With so few Rivian's out there we could probably meetup anywhere. Any interest?

  • Consider spending the afternoon afterwards Hiking, BBQing, or at the Observatory. The LA Zoo is also at Griffith.
  • Its right off the 5 freeway so not too terribly far for any OC people that may want to drive up.

Pasadena or Fullerton area is ok for me. I'm in Hollywood mostly but on weekends I could drive any direction. Post some location ideas and do the poll above. We can do a second poll for location after we pick a date.

Morning time is my vote. Also there isn't nearly enough parking for us at the Venice hub. Griffith park would be WAY better.

You guys should do Oceano Dunes. Chances are it will be closed to rest of us by the time we get our vehicles unless something changed.
Assuming Sand mode is enabled by then….

Location Griffith Park as parking (especially group parking) would be very limited by the Venice Hub
