On my guide call today....My guide works in Normal and said he was working from home due to a covid spike at the plant ....

Same thing here - spoke to my guide who was working from home. It looks like I have a matched truck with a VIN already. Delivery this month at some point in all likelihood. PBA signed.

Our guide just emailed to set up the intro call!! Beyond excited. Call set up for Monday.

The excitement is tempered a bit because we know we want to stick with the OC interior and that we will probably not get our vehicle very soon...oh well we have waited this long what's a few more months...

I feel the same way. I do not want black interior and really like the way the OC looks. So I will wait as well.

Yes, exactly. I figured I'd save a few bucks and if I don't like the BM I'll switch to FE on my Max Pack pre-order.

I'm tempted to go from LG to Compass Yellow. Keeping the FE interior.

Hoping the LE battery will suffice but may need longer range for dirt bike trips to the desert. I'll be testing the charging infrastructure and hoping it ramps up quickly. Kinda spoiled with the Tesla network.

And I didn't even mention my F150 Lightning order (Build date 6/6) nor my GT3 Touring order... LOL

Yep. You get an email stating, "It's time to begin the purchase process." and there is a marker in your account to begin.

well, there's no "marker" in my account yet so still waiting. and oddly there was still not a "marker" in my account when I checked it again after about 10 minutes. Stranger still there was no change to my account status the other 21 times that I logged on today confident that it had changed.

Now I had to check my account. LoL nothing for me either.
Do you think the guides select the vehicles for us or is it assigned by the factory. And the guides just help us with the process?

I was contacted by a Rivian Guide last week and today I confirmed my order and signed my PBA. I'm stunned, because I'm not even a Launch Edition order holder and just placed my order less than six months ago. The Guide actually said she could get me a truck from their inventory of Launch Edition trucks (again, I'm not even a Launch Edition holder) within days if I wanted to switch wheels. I declined the offer as I really want my specific configuration. Guide said to expect my truck in four to six weeks. My original delivery was estimated to be in the December timeframe. I'm excited and very surprised -- was not expecting anything so soon. Makes me wonder if more people than expected are not fulfilling their orders when they come up or if Rivian is making more vehicles than they forecast a couple months ago...
