Can those who've seen Limestone in person clarify what your naked eyeballs see.... is there any hint of blue hue to it like 95% of the photos suggest? Does your brain say "light blue" instead of any kind of shade of gray? Or at first glance does your mind say hey, that's gray with a hint of ______ (greenish? bluish?)
I just went to the Denver service center and took these. I used the Focos app to try eliminate the blue you get in so many of the photos, but at every angle you get a different hue and there were glances where I could see the Robin egg-ness, though definitely not a lot of them. Glad I got to see it in person, at the end of the day, it’s just too light for me and not enough gray or green in it. Sunshine tomorrow in Denver, I’ll try to swing back by for sunlight pics. Also did the same for the canyon red guy on here from last night-
Side notes: got to see FE in person, looks great and pumped on it. I would doubt there isn’t a color you put it in, including CR. I know that’s a bold statement.
RB looks so much better in person, now this is the 3rd time I’ve seen it.
Hope this helps everyone.

There's a blue hue to it, for sure. But it's not nearly as blue as some of the photos suggest. To my eyes, I don't see any green. It's gray with a hint of bluish.

@ChampagneUnicorn Really appreciate the photos and the effort :like:

I just don't get why Rivian didn't make Limestone a simple, flatish gray like Audi's Nardo gray. Basically a gray version of Launch Green.
I agree with you. It’s not Nardo. I’m with what @cohall just said, but some slight angles can give you the green, but it ain’t the shade of green I was hoping for. The FE I saw was with LG and I would not have any concerns with the matchy-matchniess of it that I’ve seen others mention.
Also, there are at least 30 R1Ts on the lots, we’re about to see a lot more on the road, at least in Colorado. Last time I went 3 weeks ago, there were maybe 5.

understandable if going with BM or OC interior... but I want it with FE green interior.
color coordination is hugely depending on taste, but I think FE only works without a blue-hue.
Can’t disagree

I've never felt like you can see the green in FE from outside the truck, so I don't even think the matching matters that much. FE is more dark grey than green to me...

That’s my hope. With my delivery window in an outlaw state I figure I have time to switch to BM if this community projects a virtual vomit when this combo is seen in the flesh.??

I think Limestone is cool, but I finally decided it's just not exactly what I was hoping for. I've gone all through the colors over the last few months and had several phases. I've finally just landed on white. I think I burnt myself out. But I ever get a guide and they have a couple configs in different colors available for an earlier delivery I might change my mind...

"I've tried all the flavors and landed on vanilla". j/k j/k :p

You have a July to Sept window - potentially months left to flip flop. If you think you are done deciding you're fooling yourself! ;)

ive seen it in person on a cloudy day. it was def not like these photos you generally see that makes it looks like bleached blue. that being said, its also def got more a hint of blue than hint of green. its subtle but thats how i saw it.

FWIW, I saw Limestone in Chicago under cloudy skies. I was expecting light gray. The Denver pictures above are probably slightly more blue than it appeared to me, but not much. Bottom line to my eyes - light bluish gray.

I think that’s what we all wanted/expected. Plenty of companies got this grey right. Honda, Audi, Porsche, Chevy, Toyota, even Jeep.

I’m not a red guy, but seeing canyon red in person was completely different and I really liked it, got way more of a dark orange sunset hue in the red. I guess it’s just like limestone, have to see it with your own eyes, because I’ve never seen a pic do it justice. Two cents.
I am kind of counting on the orangish tint to the red, and I like that. Unfortunately I will probably not have the chance to see the two colors side by side before I have to lock, so I am going to have to go off of the pictures.

Thanks for getting more pictures today! Now if you could just get some sunshine...

I’m doing it on my R1S. Don’t take delivery till September window though. A few pages back after I posted about the same thing, one forum member said the design team said it’ll look killer and some bigger-ups at Rivian love it combined. So here we go with some blind faith!!…
I'd love to have names and positions with "the design team said it’ll look killer and some bigger-ups at Rivian love it"...blind faith in the internet. If someone took the time to type it it must be true. But IMO it probably looks awesome...but I just agreed to LG with FE. I didn't have enough faith in LS without seeing it in person - too much of a chameleon.
