I'm envious, as I'd hoped for the same trip, but it was too early to make that happen. I'm glad you got to see the R1S's you were able to spy. Isn't the Mothership amazing! Same for the people there.
I know EA has been working on I-80 through Wyoming, but will you have to drop down to Denver to make the crossing? If so, consider heading North from I-70 out of Rifle, Colorado, and veering Northwest towards Roosevelt, Utah, if range isn't an issue. You'll eventually rejoin I-80 around Park City. Of course, if you have the time to continue to Southern Utah to play in the red rocks, have fun, and get some great pics for us!
