When was your delivery window displayed on the webpage?I originally had a "2H 2023" estimation for my r1s order, but that doesn't even seem to be listed on the page anymore. Am I looking in the wrong spot, or is it just gone? Seems like a bad sign if so.
Was kind of curious, but from this thread it seems like I should assume at least some delay. Kind of surprising that orders this close (May/June dates) are still not well-estimated.
Ugh…I got that same reply on April 29th…I guess they have nothing new. Thanks for sharing! Fingers crossed for something more soon!I heard back from my Guide today (see below)....I had specifically asked if she could provide a status, as (no one) has seen anything from Rivian regarding updated delivery windows as promised weeks ago.
Take it with a grain of salt:
"It's been brought to my attention that, similar to how we launched the R1T, the first R1S deliveries are going to employees for final ownership experience feedback. Our earliest non-employee deliveries will begin towards the end of May, and we'll continue to ramp production of the R1S through June and July.
And as a reminder, we'll be sharing updated delivery window estimates via email in the coming weeks to provide additional clarity on when you can expect your Rivian."

Fellow Ocean Coast R1S with July-Sept window here. I don’t think I am getting my R1S this year. I will wait for Ocean Coast as long as it takes. Here’s the big question, who thinks my July-Sept Ocean coast or bust LE R1S is going to get delivered in 2022?

That's the spiritTo put a positive spin on it, I tell myself the SUV gets 1% cheaper each month due to inflation and the locked-in price.
Actually a lot of truth to that, as a Jan 22 reservation holder, there might even be a second price increase before I get mine (guessing end of 2023 at best)...a weird world when cars aren't always the depreciating assets they have always been.To put a positive spin on it, I tell myself the SUV gets 1% cheaper each month due to inflation and the locked-in price.
I think it will be interesting to see where the Ioniq 7 / EV 9 pricing lands, these will be the closest competitors for size (not off roading/performance chops) With dealer markups, I bet the price will be close to the original R1S price.Actually a lot of truth to that, as a Jan 22 reservation holder, there might even be a second price increase before I get mine (guessing end of 2023 at best)...a weird world when cars aren't always the depreciating assets they have always been.
If I didn’t have little kids, I’d be right there with you with the setup!! Your R1S is gonna look absolutely stunning out there in the Spring of 23’. Respect the crap out of the commitment though. Here’s the big question, who thinks my July-Sept Ocean coast or bust LE R1S is going to get delivered in 2022?
Looks like they are converging on messaging at least. This is verbatim what I heard with an emphasis on July as the likely time customers will receive units.I heard back from my Guide today (see below)....I had specifically asked if she could provide a status, as (no one) has seen anything from Rivian regarding updated delivery windows as promised weeks ago.
