Does it list location of the vehicles or do we think all these builds are still in Normal?

When I did my First Mile drive this past weekend, the host who conducted my test drive said one of the cars there at the service center was a mismatched "orphan" car that could be purchased. I told several people I would buy it and they said the would "add those notes to my account," but I think it's off the the R1 Shop now.

I'm disappointed they wouldn't let me buy it, but it's understandable. My R1T preorder was made 8/2020 and is configured with a Max pack and Ocean Coast. There are many in line a head of me. I was just hoping to win the Rivian lottery.

Yep, I'm a very early res holder. This thing is like woot, talking with my wife about a color change and poof it's gone.

I have a guide right now, but haven't been matched to a VIN. Does anyone see a Red Canyon with Forest Edge interior on the R1 shop? If so, maybe I'll harass him to get me that one.

I'm very curious to see how (or perhaps more appropriately, IF) scenarios such as mine will be accounted for:

• I originally placed a reservation for an R1T with a Max Pack in late 2020
• In Dec 2021 I was told "1st Half 2023" (which of course, due to the Max Pack, means no earlier than 1H2023)
• A few months ago I decided I don't need/want the Max anymore and switched to a Large pack

Amongst the many questions to be answered, does that mean I'm ahead of other Large Pack reservation holders who got a reservation after me? (I think so based on what I recall from other threads) Or am I sent to the back because I changed my pack size relatively recently?

I reached out to CS through email after I changed my pack size to understand how/if this impacted my timing at all, but I never heard back and decided to wait for things to progress.

I also am in the same situation. I think pre-Shop we were at the dead end of the line. Even after May 31 2022 orders.

However, per my conversation with CS today, only preorder date matters. We will therefore be gettting invites based on preorder date, and not what your specific build is. Believe it when I see it!

Of note, I didn't specifically ask what would happen to those who are R1S preorders.

^^ From what I talked with CS if you didnt get anything there is something wrong with the sales force distro list you area suppose to be on, contact them and have them put in a ticket to make sure you get future communication.

I had an 8/2020 preorder w/ a may-june window and got my truck on 5/23 - if it weren't for max pack your number would be coming up most likely

I'm trying to figure out why you get the shield w/ 22" wheels - that's not a real "off roady" setup - or am i missing something?

Could be that someone originally ordered when the off road package was needed for tow hooks for the looks and had no intention of off roading. Then never updated it.
