Some rural middle of nowhere charger is somehow worse than a dark corner of a Walmart parking lot in a sketch area (lots of those exist)I wouldn't want my un-armed wife charging there at night I can tell ya that! Kyle brings up some good points about safety at charging sites. You can't quickly unplug and take off if suddenly under threat. How deep is that center console again?
Nope, not really that close to the road.Kyle refers to it as an 'offshoot of the road' but that yellow line at his feet looks to be the old edge of the highway. The last time they paved the crew added a bit of slope and they just paved over it...
Deep enough for my H&K VP9I wouldn't want my un-armed wife charging there at night I can tell ya that! Kyle brings up some good points about safety at charging sites. You can't quickly unplug and take off if suddenly under threat. How deep is that center console again?
I’d be less concerned about the chargers and more concerned about the people between the chargers and the roadway but that’s just me. At the least, when a semi goes by you’re in the vortex. The splash zone for rain. Does it snow there? Plow drivers must love that…how many times have those chargers been crashed into since they were installed??
I mean if you are going to park next to the charger blocking access to the other charger then yeah maybe, when I was there I parallel parked next to the fence in front of the charger.I’d be less concerned about the chargers and more concerned about the people between the chargers and the roadway but that’s just me. At least Utah has no drunk drivers ? so safe there…
? I would agree dark corners of Walmart parking lots are worse! I would never want my wife charging there alone at night…or day. Sitting duck. But I’ve seen some of the biggest odd-balls in Whole Foods parking lots, so you can’t win. Some rural middle of nowhere charger is somehow worse than a dark corner of a Walmart parking lot in a sketch area (lots of those exist)
What do you think of this stop in Bluff, Utah? Brilliant? Not so much? Seen worse?
Meth is a helluva drug in small town America, or oxy, it's really gotten worse. Sure there are bad Walmarts too but lots of areas are pretty bad, especially when the Sherriff/police are an hour away. Some rural middle of nowhere charger is somehow worse than a dark corner of a Walmart parking lot in a sketch area (lots of those exist)
Also being close to the road is funny as an argument as the OP made in another thread, how many times have those chargers been crashed into since they were installed??
I find him so annoying. Not sure why. Like nails on a chalkboard. Even more so given his quick turn from order to delivery.
