They just need to pick a handful people to send it to today and send out a quick follow up email to all confirming invites have started rolling out and call it a day. I continue to be surprised Rivian paints themselves into corners, why set a specific deadline if there's any concern of making it. Would it have mattered if it was the end of June instead of this week?

While we’re waiting an off topic but if anyone can tell me how to get rid of the big gap at the end of my postings I suspect the forum would appreciate it. Making sure the cursor is neat and tidy doesn’t seem to matter..

Some people state they didn't have to pay for the LE "upgrades" while others said they did.
It's the rivian lottery.
I was match with a launch edition despite having a adventure reservation; no upgrade charge. It actually saved me money (I think $1500) because the tonneau I had configured was included at no charge in the LE.

My Guide all but confirmed the same last night. Congrats to you, but as someone paying the new pricing for an Adventure truck I’m not happy about it. I would have happily waited for a Launch Edition back-out.

Am I the only one that is constantly going back and forth from my email, to this thread, then to my Rivian account page? Then repeat, repeat, repeat....

I'm tired. Are we confident they know how long a week actually is?

I was assigned a truck, however I rejected it due to issues it had. I don't want to get into the particulars however be leery of an older out of sequence VIN. They probably dropped me back into the lottery.
Issues u say?

Rivian Comms Director: "hey when is that email with updated preorder windows going to be ready?"

Email person: "it'll be ready next Friday"

Comms Director: "shit, it was supposed to go out in May. You sure it won't be ready before Friday?"

Email person: "Friday at the earliest"

Comms Director: "ok get an email out from Tony with the basics promising another update 'later this week's to go out on Monday. That should tide them over"
The level of production on these posts has increased significantly...... unlike RIVIAN

I'm a R1S LE holder with June/July window.

After reading the email several times, my understanding is now that the majority of R1S LE holders are pushed out of 2022. Is that right .. ?

(English is my 2nd language, it wasn't easy to get to this point)

The Rivian calendar may never be cracked.... it's like the Enigma machine....only more complicated.
