My window moved from June - July 2022 to August - September 2022. I live in Richmond, VA which has a service center so, @Cactusone, your theory holds water.

I ordered just ahead of you and live in NoVA…had the same original window as you too…hope I can get a similar new window as that…

Pre order date 3/21. I really did not think I should have been in the Jul-Sep 2022 window but not 2H2023.

No LE. I currently have the available configuration but the closest SC is 346 miles away.

Really weird that 6/8 I got a guide and confirmed my config.

This is not totally unexpected given all the chaos.

This is not totally unexpected given all the chaos.

For a comparison, I‘m a 7/1/21 reservation and was originally given 1H2023. Based on the estimates some R1T 2021 reservations are getting, I’ll be extremely disappointed with 2H23. It might force me to go a different direction from Rivian entirely. Don’t think my 2011 Q5 is gonna make it another 18 months for me.

Edit: I see that you’re in Boise. That could be a big factor against you, which absolutely sucks for you. Also, I think you’re posting in the wrong thread. This is the R1S thread, but you said R1T and mentioned the tonneau.

edit2: typo’d my reservation date as 22. Correct date is 2021
