Latest VIN check R1T. What is the real production rate...

It’s all in how “going into production” is defined. My guess is that is when the guide became aware of a truck they could assign to a reservation holder. Congratulations, hope you enjoy it ??

It is still "in transit". Per information from my guide, it was built last week of May...

Kind of surprised we have not seen anything in the 8k range yet, seems like we have been seeing 7k for awhile.

If anyone sees an R1S out and about, can you get the last 4 of the vin, curious if they are using same sequence as the R1T or they have their own.

Vin 7534. Had guide contact June 8th PBA signed same day, 8 Steps opened Next day June 9th. Currently working through the 8 steps. Guide told me 4-8 weeks was my ETA. Order date was Jan 11th 2022 (I feel bad for having this short of a order to delivery time.) Located in Southern Oregon likely will do home delivery instead of driving to Portland for pick up.

Lol, I pre-order on Sep 28, 2019, but have been siting on the fence. My Guide, so far, is entirely non-communitive, not responding to email, SMS or voice, so I don't have a steer on my ETA.

Also, the VIN is recognized by my insurance (Tesla), or any of the usual VIN sites, so I cant' upload the insurance doc, nor would I want to, if delivery is 8 weeks off.

Base on how VIN's have work the last 6 digits being the serial number I would say the R1S will have a different not intermingle with the R1T. They will have their own series.

Yeah, there’s a post on this. Other digits will also be different for R1S, EDV or other differences like quad vs dual motor, so the last digits could repeat on other models (for instance there will be a 000001 for both the LE T and LE S, and there will be a 000001 for the first dual motor versions and by trim).

7361 here. I’ve done most of the 8 steps. Waiting on a delivery date. My guide says he has no clue on date, all he can tell is that the truck is “In production” and he has no other info. I am rapidly approaching the 3rd anniversary of my order.

Well, the good news it's ready for delivery this week. The bad news is:

I'm very tempted to refuse delivery, not in a huge rush, and most things I've read so far don't give me much confidence it would actually be resolved in the 'next couple of months'.
