Spotify & podcasts: no way to sync?

As much as I love the truck I am really hating Spotify. The interface is a disaster. My biggest issue is that I primarily listen to podcasts and Spotify does not seem to sync podcast status across devices. I only want to see unplayed episodes, shows with unplayed episodes, and to be able to pick up an episode where I left off on another device.

What am I missing? Other than CarPlay of course ?

Do you subscribe or use a free account? For example I listened to an episode for over an hour in the truck yesterday. Spotify on my phone doesn’t know that.

Rivian CS? So you think this is a truck issue vs a Spotify issue?

I have my Spotify set to remove episodes from "Your Episodes" on complete and it seems to sync correctly there. I don't know about it syncing how much time I have left in an episode though. One thing I will say that Rivian needs to fix is that if you hit skip on the steering wheel it goes to the next podcast instead of skipping ahead X number of seconds even though the buttons on the screen indicate skipping seconds.

Rivian CS? So you think this is a truck issue vs a Spotify issue?

I'd start there as it could just be a compatibility issue. But if Rivian has nothing, then contact Spotify.
