I'd say worth contacting CS at this point. Possible your guide is on vacation or MIA, maybe they need to assign you someone else. Though, having a guide or not doesn't seem to help everyone the same way.

I'd say worth contacting CS at this point. Possible your guide is on vacation or MIA, maybe they need to assign you someone else. Though, having a guide or not doesn't seem to help everyone the same way.

I am sure the guides are swamped right now. Sounds like an unfun job. Maybe something else is up though. My guide’s apparently been unwell for a while and there’s been another who’s been trying to help after messages sit for more than a few days. I appreciate his efforts to help, but his every reply is a non answer to one question while ignoring the rest.

TBH, the lack of specific replies and updates and the apparent sharp decline in QC for high vins right now, is definitely cooling me towards this entire experience.

Or maybe I’m just really enjoying bombing around in my old ice vehicles that are already in the garage. Bird in the hand...

Anyway, I’d go around your guide. That’a my next move.

This has been happening to multiple people from what I’ve heard. Not making excuses for them, but it seems like all the guides got a bunch of new people assigned to them when Rivian started this big production push, but they still don’t have access to the answers people have, such as “where is my truck”. Some are handling it better than others, but Rivian is not setting them up to succeed. That doesn’t help anyone.

Got my 8-step email this morning. Completed the first 6 steps, waiting to pay and for the scheduled delivery date.

I totally agree and understand. Not throwing anyone under the bus at all. I actually asked my guide when we had our intro call the best way she wanted to be contacted and she said it was text. I would have just assumed a bit more information at this time, especially with multiple messages since over 2 weeks ago. Oh well, I'm not going to stress about it too much.

I’m figuring they’re trying to hit that 25k number by EOY, but at the rate they’re going, they’re likely to miss a lot of deliveries because folks will be traveling for the holidays. Trucks might be fully prepped as the Service Center, but will just be sitting waiting…

I would really hate to be in their position right now. Doesn’t seem like they have answers to any of the questions their customers want answered. Still, they should at least acknowledge they received your texts even if they can’t do anything more than that right now….

I don't have many questions either, in fact, this forum keeps me more informed than the guide information to be honest!

I scheduled the delivery then completed payment immediately after. They said payment would need to be complete by 4pm on the day prior to delivery.

I scheduled the delivery then completed payment immediately after. They said payment would need to be complete by 4pm on the day prior to delivery.
My guide said he’d send the request to fund to USAA on the delivery day, even though it will take USAA a few days to ach it over. Doesn’t sound like it’s an issue for them that I get the truck before they receive all the payment I guess?

Our guide has been sending us available vehicles at various service centers and at the factory. That could be what she's referring to. Guides have more control over that vs the Shop.
So apparently this is true and on top of that she used the wording "canceled orders" so these are apparently refused deliveries inclusive. I guess they are getting desperate to get numbers up end of year.. Definitely not taking a chance, plus she only had Forest Green interiors.
