okay! my R1T says it has version 2022.43.2. is there something newer than this? if so, where do I get it and how to download?
v47 will be dropping soon. It is pushed by the company to you - you can't initiate the download/update. Once v47 is pushed to your truck, 1.9 features will activate.

There is, but not for the general public yet. You cannot manually install or force check for updates.

Off topic a bit, just noticed today an issue on Spotify and curious if others have noticed this. Have setup my phone via Bluetooth and then set Spotify after logging in on my phone. We have a family Spotify plan. My wife uses the truck often when I’m on call until her R1S shows up. She has the truck today and I went to play Spotify at work and while she was driving it was playing in the truck. We then proceed to unknowingly battle between playing classic rock and kids podcasts remotely ??. She has her own login on our family plan so not sure why it is defaulting to mine even though I’m nowhere near.

also, yesterday both of us were in the car and was trying to play Spotify but it wouldn’t play until I dropped her off and her phone was not in the car. Annoying.

Your windows aren't closed.
Lol… pretty sure I’d know if my windows were closed. Also sure that I I’ve double checked as well

The truck doesn't think they are closed. It doesn't matter what you think.

Thank you for your pointless reply. Nothing better to do?

As I said in a previous post, it’s a software issue

I'd consider it a hardware issue, but you do you.

Thanks man. I’ve tried recalibrating and unfortunately same issue.
Just to be sure, you're doing the recalibration from each individual door for each window involved? First click down, not fully down. Hold for 10 seconds after the window hits the bottom. Immediately switch to pulling up at the first click, not fully up, same 10 seconds for when the window hits the top.

Since the truck doesn't actually let you know if it worked or not, it's hard to know if you did it properly.

I think it's time to book an appointment then. It works for most people, so there must be a problem with your vehicle. This sounds like something Mobile Service can fix for you, whether it's hardware or software.

Whoa. That’s good to know/see. Thanks for posting those screenshots.

I updated on iOS and don’t see the extra controls. I haven’t driven my R1T all day either but I don’t think that matters. Regardless, good to know we’ll have all those options soon.

I’m hoping dash cam capabilities come sooner than later.

EDIT: also glad the nagging upon launch to allow “always” location access has gone away.
I probably should've included in my post that you have to use trickeration to get them to display (or have the newer truck software). The app uses feature flags to enable/disable different options which you can fake out to maybe get extra features early. The "surface" controls don't work on current truck software but the extra closure (gear tunnels, tonneau, etc) do work on the current software. Not sure why Rivian is gating that. In fact, those features have worked via API commands for quite a while but only now showed up in the app UI.

Yikes! I updated the app and no longer see charging history from my Rivian wall EVSE. Has this moved or did they remove it?

I share an energy bill with my tenant and was tracking the charge history. I'll be SUPER disappointed if this information is no longer available!!!!!!!!
I noticed this too, but just found the charge history, it has been moved. Go to your profile then "Manage Account" and "Charging History" is the fifth option down for me.

Thank you so much! At first I was annoyed by this, but now I understand that it shows all charge sessions, not just the ones on their wall charger.
