That is really interesting. It looks like VW is saying that the AWD versions of the ID4 make it an SUV while Ford possibly did not specify that in their documentation to the IRS for the Mach-E.Why does the VW ID.4 AWD Pro have an msrp limit of $80K and a Ford Mach E have an msrp limit of $55K$ The differentiating factor in the rule seems to be 2-row suv = $55K and 3-row =$80K but the ID.4 and Mach E are both 2-row.
