I received a set of their “Off-road” version mud flaps today.
took 30 minutes to install, enjoying the process.
they came with everything needed except a T25 torx bit and driver. They provided a T20.

I opted to remove the painted steel T25 lower rear bolts and install stainless allen head bolts. I live in the northern salt belt.
6mmx1.0 x 30 bolts and 6mm washer. X2

These mud flaps cover thefender hole that allowed mud, dirty etc to destroy the side of the truck. This is awesome to be able to block off this during the winter months. I’ll probably leave them on all year round.
I do expect a little range loss. No biggie for me, but heads up for full transparency.

LLIYA was great to work with designing these and I’m honored to represent them this year Racing the Rivian! We have a YouTube channel linked in our website. Please Subscribe to support!
I also created Rivian Tech on Facebook. Great place for tech related info.

Looks great, do you have any farther away pictures of the whole truck. wondering how the stance looks with the mudflaps (macro view).

Seeing the scuff’s I have already on my lower plastic trim, I can see why these would be a great add.

Exactly! The heavy tailings used here sand blasts plastic quick. I’m grateful to have them.

These look pretty good for a simple, flat (non-molded) implementation. My R1 gets dirty very quickly. After a wash and then a quick drive down my gravel driveway/road I already have mud tags all the way up near the rear window! I'd be interested in what kind of improvement you see.

+1 for wanting to know how these affect range. I am imagining a fairly significant hit. I doubt Rivian would have designed those aero ports there, knowing how much crap is kicked up against the truck, unless they were pretty meaningful in terms of aero efficiency.

I wouldn't mind flapping mine, esp for when I want to tear it up offroad, but I absolutely would balk at a significant range loss (anything more than 1-3% and I think it'd be a problem for me).

EDIT: I am considering doing it anyway and just removing them for any extended trips. The aero loss is negligable when offroading since I'm rarely doing more than 20-25mph.

@Team Venom Racing, thanks for posting, these look great and are priced well. All Twraps stuff is tremendous. The mounting bolts look reasonably robust even for snow/mud and have been waiting for a front setup that closes the blowhole.

Can you also please share more info on the Weld wheelset? Looks like they are similiar if not close spec to the Rivian offset with proper caliper clearance and wider bead lip or beadlock? Thanks.

The Weld wheels have been great! NOT A DIRECT FIT.
I had to use 6mm spacers and hub centric rings. But overall, was a great package.
I have better details on Rivian tech via Facebook.
lots of pics.

@Team Venom Racing it looks like these are even more useful with your relatively negative offset wheel setup.

EDIT: Read them backwards, but still think I'd like to see some scientific data points to compare the two trips. Screenshots of usage are meaningless without context.
