For those that have seen my prior posts, been an adventure finding a set of custom wheels. Am now on my 5th set. Didn't get a photo of set #3 as they didn't fit. Needed 1 mm less offset to clear the front calipers on those. The other four sets I've had on the truck so far are shown below. So, which of the four do you guys prefer best?

For me, I wanted custom wheels simply because I'm not a fan of the gray on the stock wheels, nor the "staple" styled machined portion of the wheel. I don't mind machined face wheels, just not ones that look like staples.
Second reason was because I personally like to push the wheels out a little further. I know, not the best for range efficiency, but does give it a more aggressive stance. It's something I've done on just about every car I've owned, either with custom wheels or spacing out the stock wheels.

For anyone interested, here's the link to my prior posts with all the details on the prior sets of wheels, offsets, what fits, what doesn't, various tire sizes tried, etc....

SET C: Stock 21's powder coated in black with 5mm spacers to push them out slightly.
THIS SET WAS THE FORUMS PRIOR FAVORITE CHOICE, BUT GOT THE LEAST LOVE FROM THOSE SEEING IT IN PERSON. (The increase in range and quietness of these tires were huge benefits of this set!).

SET D: 20 X 9 - 18MM OFFSET - PIRELLI TIRES WITH SAME TREAD AS STOCK, BUT ONE SERIES SMALLER 33" INSTEAD OF STOCK 34" (265/60/20). In my own opinion, as for the tires only, the 33's just fit the truck better proportionately than the stock 34" tires. 34's just look too big for the size of the truck, to my own eyes.

C) Stock 21's powder coated first choice, then A) stock 20 inch rims / wheels. Not really of fan of others. Rivian has such smooth lines and sleek design that busier rims clash with the esthetic IMO.

Not my cup of tea personally. I've learned throughout the years how we all view things differently through our own set of eyes. What looks great to one person may not to another and vice versa.

Votes have still been for the 21's over the 20's. For this off-road oriented vehicle, I personally prefer the look of the Black 20's with all-terrain tires that give it more of an off-road truck look versus the slim street tires on the 21's. Also, while it will cost me a bit in range, like them being pushed out a little. Gives it a little more of an aggressive stance. Although, I did have 5mm spacers on the 21's to push them out a little, but that's nowhere near the 25 mm gain from the stock 43mm offset wheels and the 18mm offset wheels.

My choice is based on looks alone. With that said I'm still not sure if I like the black wheels with the White. Probably why I'm still kinda partial to the way the stock 20's look. I even kinda like B. but they are just a tad to busy IMO.

Still like my black factory 20"s better than any of those ? Not helpful, I know.

D. I’d like to see how it’d look with larger off road tires. But I don’t think that’ll work with a wheel that has an offset much different from stock. I wish there were more wheel options with close to stock offset, at a reasonable price.

Refer to my link in the original post. I had a set of mud terrain tires on the truck for about 3 days. Way too loud for my taste and they came right off, but I LOVED the look of them on the truck. They are with the Set B wheels, but gives you an idea of what they look like.

I like the offset of the custom wheels, don’t like the chunky center cap on either of those. I think a set of dark bronze (~Toyota TRD) would look fantastic on the GW if you found a set you liked. Agree on preferring the 20” to larger diameter ?

You could have gone with these in black and forget about all those you've tried.

https://evsportline.com/collections...ged-wheels-by-team-1ev?variant=41189823807628
You are 100% correct and those aren't a bad looking wheel. BUT.................(there's always a "but" isn't there?)..........Those are $4,995 for a set of wheels, I spent $1,200 on my set of wheels. $3,800 leftover in my pocket to buy things like running boards and such! :)

If I wanted to spend that much on wheels, I'd probably just buy the stock "dark wheels" from Rivian. For $5,140, only $145 more and you get tires, pressure sensors and mounting and balancing all included, and they'll even put them on for you. With these, you'd have to spend an additional $2,000 or so for tires, plus $200 for TPMS, plus mounting and balancing. So you'll be in close to $7,500 by the time you're done. My set, complete with everything was $2,600. I was able to try three sets of wheels tires to see what I liked best for what just this one set would have cost. I sold three sets and now have just two sets left.
