Been reported before. They batch build (apparently) leaving a decent number of vehicles without exact marches to current orders so they place them in the shop for people who have existing orders and are within the delivery time frame’ish to pick something for a possibly earlier delivery.

Ok, so I have seen 2 time, my exact build, but was never assigned to me. How that makes sense.

WOW adventure R1s access to shop . . . . They must be booking

To clarify, the access was granted via my R1T preorder NOT my R1S. That still has an Oct-Dec 2023 prediction.

I just got access as well to the shop but don't have a guide and have never been contacted for a test drive. I emailed c/s but is there a better way to contact them to set one up?

I just got access to the Shop. But now I've discovered that it won't do me any good. Apparently, now, LA Silver is the only "included" color - every other paint color is $1750 to $2500 extra. I was sure that there were at least a couple of "included" colors, originally. I thought that I might accept another color truck, if I found one close enough to what I'm looking for, but I'm not going to pay a couple grand for a different color.

From when I ordered LA silver was always the only included color. Maybe white as well, but I’m not 100% sure as I wasn’t considering either of those colors seriously.

White is also free. Like @Prime said. At least from my reservation time, not sure if they changed that. There are two currently hanging in the shop in my neck of the woods.

I think that white was free when I ordered, too, but it's now a $1750 option. It'll be interesting to see how the price compares with a LA Silver (if one shows up in the Shop). I'd take white (if it isn't extra charge), if one shows up with the 20" wheels and RUS. There were only five trucks in the shop on Saturday (when I got my first look).

I also have RUS configured. When I got access on Wednesday there were tons of options. I just muffed it hard. I did ask my guide about RUS and he said unless you’re just planning on going super hard a lot of the time, there is protection there already. FWIW.. Unfortunately he responded 3+ hours later and the ones I was looking at got scooped. Oh well.. I’m 20s Dark or nothing, so hosed myself.

I received access to shop and ordered one of the trucks. Didn’t pick it up. VIN decoder says 2022 model. Any downside to pick a 2022 vs 2023?
VIN is NN mid 15000

Curious, has anyone gotten shop access with a mid 2022 preorder?

Totally understand there are still orders from 2021 being fulfilled, just curious.
