true but i believe there would be cost savings to ship everything to one locations vs a bunch of different locales.

Well, I ordered the running boards on 11/10, along with Jack pucks. They've already charged my credit card for the jack pucks, running boards, shipping, and shipping insurance. I've received the pucks cuz they were in stock. So I'm guessing they can send the running boards to me since shipping 's already paid and I can bring it in for install, or they can ship directly to Van Nuys...

We'll have about 30 done within a week, that starts rolling - first orders handled first, and so forth. Things will roll fast now, production tooling makes all the difference in the world - the custom fabrication is what takes so much time, but that is over now!
@EV Sportline, how much time would it take for boards+sliders installation at that location (assuming it's free for early preorders like mine)? Will be in LA in mid June so that might work if it doesn't take long.
Plan for 1-2hr, just to be safe. Wont take that long, but getting in, out, paperwork - just to be safe!
I can tell you those early orders are our first to get filled, obviously. We will do the a couple installs next week in ATL, no real volume, but the real volume (shipping) starts flowing early Feb, and parts will flow fast. Our investment in production tooling, while painfully slow and expensive, will pay-off with high quality and fast production output volume.
We need to shoot that still (slider install video), we will after running board videos are done - FYI the Slider install is easy, not harder than running boards. Heavier, yes...but not harder to install. Plastic panels are removed the same as we outline in the running board video....and you'll be tightening more bolts, that's about it. Oh, and there is a unique design feature that makes our Sliders much easier to install than you might think
I think most of us appreciate the the fact that you were so willing to listen to what we had to say. You've been quite patient with the constant pestering from most of us and In my own opinion, what is being released is certainly an improvement over the original design patterns. We all hate to wait for anything, but sounds like they'll be worth the wait. Thanks again!
@EV Sportline , I assume you'll be prioritizing the running board deliveries first and then sliders later? I make this assumption given that seems to be how the pictures and videos are being prioritized when posted here.
