Dumber than "can pull near infinite mass"?
Sure...that's all Marketing fluff. But yes, it pulls way more than what most on this board are ever going to need it to. And for those that actually need it tow something in particular they will surely do a bit more research than rely on a random nothingness quote.

I don't understand why so many tesla fanbois hand out on a Rivian forum.
You also are allowed to like/appreciate what numerous companies are doing. You own a Rivian and have a Lightning on order, correct?

I’ve seen it at the Petersen museum. It’s ugly as fuck to me.
Not only is the overall design worse in person, you see how beat up it is. They've been dragging that same rolling concept around to all the shows for 4 years now and it looks like it's falling apart.

My apologies for making fun of Tesla’s “marketing fluff”. If you could point me towards some verified specs like weight, range, price, ACTUAL towing capacity, payload, length, width, safety ratings, seaworthiness, etc. I would be happy to mock those directly…. Until then I will continue to comment on the imaginary “fluff” that Space Karen tweets out.

Many members like myself purchased an R1T as a placeholder BEV pickup until our Cybertruck reservations come to fruition.

I think the exterior styling is brilliant and will be copied by others.

After reading countless of the Cybertruck bashing on Rivian forum (no $hit...), I believe Elon has accomplished what he said at the very beginning of the CT design.

He said it's very different and most people won't like it. It will not be for everyone. He even said if people hate it too much, Tesla would have to change the design.

After 1.6million preorders, being very different has not only polarized people but also reaffirmed the CT design for those that find it desirable. You can argue that for $100 deposit vs $1,000, makes a huge difference but I say not. Neither is significant enough that if you were interested in it, you do it. I didn't think anything of it when I placed it for Rivian, because I intend to buy the vehicle.

While R1T has many merits, it does cater to the traditional buyers with interests towards trucks. The looks is sort of retro-contemporary but not mold-breaking, like CT (which I'm sure most of you herein favors over CT).

The thing I like the best about the CT is that it's provocative and gets people talking and makes other manufactures work harder and think bit more than just another iteration of the same - enhancing today's products at best.

I hope CT is a huge hit and hope R1 and R2 platforms are too. It's not mutually exclusive. There's room for both....

The purpose of the Clustertruck design is profitability.
I think we'll learn that Highland is about making use of the CT ideas (all derived from Ford and DeLorean) to make the Tau (a smaller Model 3/Y) with the slab-sided metal construction.
Stamping conventional steel or aluminum at scale is just as cheap, nay cheaper than brake forming stainless.

I’m actually rooting for CT to be a sales failure and looking forward to the $tsla simps not have money for retirement—this goes for all meme stock fucks

Pathological liar Elon Musk is the only source for the rumor there are between 1-1.6 million (number keeps changing) preorders. Not credible.

And there is a huge difference between $100 and $1000 to me. That’s why I waited until 2021 to make my deposit For my R1T after following Rivian very closely since day 1.

I agree there is no reason Rivian and Tesla both can’t be successful. That won’t stop me from mocking all the insane claims about this truck. Like this one:

You’re assuming it will still be mass manufactured :giggle: Until I see that actually happen I don’t believe it.

I never did believe that. Just like I never believed the CT would make it to mass production.
