The manual option makes no sense to me with the hard slats you have to store. I like the better security but the storage/bulkiness isn't convenient. I've had a rollup cover on my F350 for 13 years and its been perfect for my needs. If its important i'll use the gear guard or the gear tunnel to protect it vs trusting the cover.I thought 1 and 2 are the same. Just the powered cover removed. It was mentioned later this year that the rails would go for anyone not choosing the manual ($1800) option. This is why I think the market for a third party cover using the rails is limited.
