R1S Shop access live with lots of inventory!

I wonder why these aren't moving very fast as it has been the same group of vehicles for at least three days now. They just added another Red and all but one is above $80,000 for pre March Shoppers.

Adventure trims pay more for 20” ATs, it’s not my preferred wheel choice and maybe why not moving as quick.

Do we think they’re done building Launch Editions? I think someone earlier in the thread said they picked up a LE in the 7XXX VIN range last week but that’s probably the end of the builds given recent inventory, no?

That was probably mine... it is a LE in Granite, with Black 22's, VIN #71XX.. The only perk of the LE for me is the wristband I guess. I was told that all factory testing was completed on March 31st, so I'm guessing that is considered the "Born" date. As of now, my still shows in Elgin, Illinois. That might actually be near the location of the Chicago Walnut street SC. Probably getting the tail light fix completed.

My guide told me that is where it is located when he looked up it's location. He didn't know what the actual location was, but when I looked up SC's in the area, it appears to be very close to one.

When I had Shop access for the T it was made extremely clear to me by multiple Guides I would not be getting access to LEs even though my reservation dated to when LEs were still available to configure (I was originally a Max pack configuration).

I reserved March 5. 2023 and selected a LE from the shop April 8. So fwiw it seems like anybody can get a LE (though I obviously did not get LE pricing).

From what I've heard is the size/capacity of the Bellevue location and they can't handle the volume.

Are you relying on our binding contract to get the $7500 tax credit and say you vehicle went into service 8/15/2022 and amend your tax return?

Can't speak for that poster, but I went ahead and just filed an extension on my taxes yesterday since I know my R1S is in transit now.

Figured that way I can claim on 2022 without needing to amend and also see what comes out with the April 17/18 updates on credit amounts and then decide the best / safest path forward.

**Nothing in this post is tax or legal advice, and everyone should consult with their own tax advisors and make the decisions that are best for them, I just personally decided the extension route was logical in my case where I have a VIN assigned and (absent something crazy) should have delivery no longer than 6-8 weeks out.**

I think it is a shame that they offer LE shop access and pricing to non-LE holders. If all LE holders had already received their vehicles, I wouldn’t have a problem, but I’m still waiting and lots of folks able to jump the line.
