Totally agree the thinner front lip looks better in your most recent prototype and I like that it’s in matte (nice contrast), but the top portion in the texturized finish actually looks really good with the matte lip / surround for the cubby slider (like your first pic). Might be personal pref but looking forward to seeing it in person!I have an earlier prototype with that vinyl I can share (it has a bigger front lip, but ignore that.).

And another one with all textured.

( I don't like the way the front lip looks at all)
Thank you sir!I concur. This looks really nice! I'm super impressed!!
+1 on this. I just installed another product with a hardwire kit and I like it a lot, but I love the storage option in yours. If there is a version without a hardwire kit, I'd be eager to try it.I hope you can have a version without the hardwire kit. I already bought the hardwire kit and soldered my own.

Honestly, not including my charging hardware wouldn't change the price much... it's not a big part of my material costs or labor.+1 on this. I personally prefer the matte black top. Being a current fan of you existing charging mat, I'd be a customer for this one right away. 1 request if possible - my ONLY issue with the existing mat is the textured wrap is fairly slippery and it would be great to have something with grip. If you could wrap the top section in something with grip, that would be a huge upgrade for the current model.I have an earlier prototype with that vinyl I can share (it has a bigger front lip, but ignore that.).

Yeah, on the warping, I used the PLA I had lying around as a "test print", and never bothered doing a "final print". Last week was the first time my truck has been parked outdoors in sunny/warm weather since…. Probably November considering the average Winter weather in my part of the country. ?I've thought about that a little as I've heard that as a concern in the past. There are some non-skid vinyl products out but the trade off would be aesthetics. So I'm not sure the trade-off is worth it.
As for warping, I use ASA plastic - higher heat resistance than other materials and shouldn't warp (208 degrees F glass transition temp).
