Kind of curious seeing some Launch Editions with 20" AT but no RUS next to some LEs with 22" and with the RUS.

The underbody shield was not tied to 20" wheels on the configurator until very recently. Older orders are allowed to get the shield with any of the wheels, and are not required to get it with any of the wheels.

I know. I just thought it was a funny twist, especially since there were a few waves of new inventory that only seemed to have all 3 of AT + RUS + spare always together, matching the new configuration options.

and Congrats to those who got their R1S thru the shop...

All but 4 of today's additions are gone now. And of the 4 that are left, 2 of them are yellow.

Also, related to yellow, I thought Rivian announced a while back that Compass Yellow with FE Interior was canceled. Did they not force you to update your config?

I picked one today! Been watching me a hawk! Everything I wanted limestone Black and black AT wheels plus underbody shield. At this point why not! Very happy.

I grabbed a launch edition, launch green, BM with bright 22s!

Much different than LA Silver that I had ordered!

You must have grabbed that one seconds before me...I refreshed the store, spent about 20 seconds scanning for the closest match, clicked on that one and immediately tried to confirm it...but it was already gone.

Oh well, I ended up with a Launch Green with 20's (which I preferred); the only downside was that I had to pay for the Forest Edge interior. I will have to pay again when my wife finds out I got the green interior, but I figure she'll get used to it...

FE is great my wife loves it, the configurator picture is terrible, it’s much more subtle and often looks gray.

I almost snagged a launch edition twice which had most everything I wanted. It came with 22” sport wheels free Instead of 20” all terrains.

it was hard to resist but I decided to pass in the end.

I really want ocean coast, RUS and 20” all terrains. I’ll wait till I can get that or stick to my September schedule.

@MidnightRivian i think it’s very likely you will see it in the shop before September, it was pretty common config for a couple weeks

I grabbed the Blue, BM, 20" brights, which was our config and $3k cheaper! Pretty excited to be a 2 Rivian household. FWIW, the quote we got from Rivian insurance with slightly better coverage was cheaper than our current Farmers by $100.

Assuming it is in Normal and we'll be waiting for a while. Can't wait to get rid of the Tesla! And sadly.....the Defender due to winter storage issues.

I see the Darks and Brights all terrains often. I prefer regular all terrain with launch edition in Glacier White.

Hopefully I find an orphan in couple months.
