Speaker icon center screen (what does it do?)

Can anyone tell me what this is? I can't find it on other photos of the center screen...

It seems to turn off and on but I can't tell what it does!

Which icon are you referring to? The far left is the drive cam record button. second one is the garage door opener. third is Alexa and last is notifications.
