R1S Shop access live with lots of inventory!

R1S shop inventory as of this morning by interior colors,

Not quite sure what's going on in my shop. This morning I had many vehicles too and now all but 6 just disappeared. I wonder if they either matched a bunch to existing order holders... ? Or they just sent out a bunch of invites and many people selected configs...

I am seeing same thing, in last 30 mins inventory went from 60+ to 11 for me. I somehow doubt that suddenly in 30 minutes all of those were matched. May be a trick to force people match a spec quickly?

Agreed - the odds of so many being picked up in such a short time is very slim. Trying to create demand by simulating scarcity...?

Yesterday I noticed a refresh around 2pm with new options so hopefully same happens today.

I went by the service center to look at the vehicle and inspect it for items that were missed during quality control. We spent about 45 minutes checking out the car and went on 24 minute test drive.

I wonder whether the nice folks in Normal will be this accommodating when my Rivian finally gets built. I would certainly welcome an opportunity to see and drive my R1S before the actual delivery day. But I don't even know whether factory delivery vehicles pass through the Normal service center (or, instead, do they just go straight from the factory to the Delivery Center?).

I think so too, Since yesterday morning I have been tracking very closely (the longest duration I might not have check inventory was in the night for about 3-4 hours, rest all were under 1 hour) and it appears to me that way.

I am hopeful that they will add few more LE ones with different color options to pick from.

Talk to your guide. That’s who helped me get comfortable with buying and picking up the vehicle.

I worked with the guide at the factory and the service center to schedule a time to inspect after it was ready for delivery.

I let them know ahead of time I planned to check and inspect before I cut the down payment check or pick up the vehicle.

They go through service center inspection. There is factory inspection that occurs after it leaves line then SC inspection before u can pick up. Did my pick up at factory and process was shared by my guide and delivery POC while I impatiently awaited pick up appointment.

Grabbed the same a few days ago. I had about 5 different Limestone+OC to choose from. Congrats!
