I didn't go through that process. Already had the vanity plates on the ICE vehicle the Rivian replaced. Had the plates transferred through the registration process.
I have vanity plates on my R1S. They definitely charge the EV registration charge (since it's a function of the vehicle and not the plate). Other than that, it's the same vanity plate that was on my previous ICE vehicle.
Thanks, all. I was thinking defroster too given proximity, but also was hoping that it's the antenna as @crashmtb suggested since the radio reception in the vehicle isn't great compared to my others. I know, I know - no one listens to the radio anymore, but I do!
We've had our R1S for just over a month and this wire has been hanging out of the headliner by the third row passenger window. I'm assuming it shouldn't be hanging down like this. Anyone know what the wire is for?
Thanks for posting. I saw an email come through to the same effect. Sucks for those of us that took delivery before early August since the 90-day since purchase window precludes us from filing. Good news for those that will take delivery soon though!
I tried these top infills but still hear whistling. Maybe marginally better than without, but still searching for another solution.

Looks like the vehicle didn't charge overnight per the schedule that was set. I'm thinking it has something to do with my limiting battery and data use in the app and forcing the app to stop yesterday.
That said, I thought the charging schedule was dictated by the car, so app shouldn't matter...?
