Who wants a Rivian diecast or model R1T/R1S toy truck, or RC?

This one falls into another missed opportunity for Rivian. They should have many scale options of models in their store and could be making high margins on as many as they could get made these days. We would all clear whatever inventory they had for likely years to come....each time inventory hit the store....

Yes, I was hoping they would sell some scale models in the gear shop or at least partner with toy manufacturers.
I would buy myself a bday gift, Christmas gift, one for my cupboard and one for the truck.

They’re indeed hard to find in local stores but strange that if you search on matchbox or Mattel websites, you get zero results.

Im still on the hunt for my matchbox R1T.

I got 2 on eBay from Australia ($8 each with shipping) as soon as I heard about them. The eh didn’t come in a blister pack, but in a box. Love them!

I've got 7 of these from the dollar stores and the most I paid for them is 1.50. Giving them away as gifts to new meetup Rivian owners.

Not to be a wet blanket, but Rivian 'aggresively' (very aggressively) protects the name Rivian, R1T, R1S, and 125 other words.......you could never call it a Rivian (fill in the blank). Just an FYI before you invest anything...

The model companies license the vehicle/name etc from the carmakers. It’s not like they just go buck wild making a model. Most automakers have whole departments devoted to handling licensed products.

The kids and I all got Traxxas TRX-4M Broncos. (1:18 scale) Would love an R1 body. I might have to hit up one of the people that print bodies on etsy and see if they could do an R1T or R1S.
