Turning on the AC and letting it sit for a few minutes as @Friscorays suggested wouldn't work in my case if it's been in my garage.I am planning to take delivery in couple days and going for pre delivery inspection tomorrow at Dallas SC.
Can someone please help to list out exact steps to re-produce the issue or steps to ensure whether mine has same noise issue or not?
Thanks, Really appreciate the help.
Yes, black means it's enabled. The UI could use some work to make it clearer IMO.On the R1's I believe it is on when that icon is inverted from the above image (ie black background and white vehicle/arrow). Can someone confirm that I'm correct here?
It might depend on each vehicle. I made mine do it manually when it was roughly 72 outside and parked in the shade. I just set the temp to Low. Mine does not make the loud noise on it's own, very often. It did do it a few weeks ago when we picked it up from the Hawes location, during the inspection.I am planning to take delivery in couple days and going for pre delivery inspection tomorrow at Dallas SC.

The Dallas SC delivery area is outdoors and given the weather forecast Tushar should be good to go.....Since you're in Texas I'd suggest asking if they can set it outside for an hour before you come to pick it up. This will require everything to work harder.....
Ahh that explains it. Should be good then. The Dallas SC delivery area is outdoors and given the weather forecast Tushar should be good to go.

I believe its not only 18 members of the forum facing this issues. It seems like many are not aware that there is a document available to submit.
Right, I have specifically asked them to not pre-condition the car for inspection today. The Dallas SC delivery area is outdoors and given the weather forecast Tushar should be good to go.

Or if you want, you can accept the car and within a week, do some testing at homeRight, I have specifically asked them to not pre-condition the car for inspection today.
Sure, I am planning to have that discussion for sure because who knows what other issues I may find in 1 week window.Or if you want, you can accept the car and within a week, do some testing at home
Confirm with them that you can return the car if you find some issues.
Am I mistaken or the weed eater noise went away after 15 seconds? I just heard full wind blow in 2nd half.Long time lurker first time poster... as other Texans have mentioned it's super hot out but the weed wacker noise is pretty rough. I have a support request in but first Austin appointment is August 4th... (some body panel gaps and other minor things to fix as well). Thought I would share the video. Also noticed the vibration on the accelerator making my leg start to fall asleep.
Weird, this is surprSo after this happened to me for the first time a few days ago, this morning I went to drive my car to the gym at 6am. It was sitting in the garage, unplugged, and the ambient temps were probably 60 degrees - so not hot at all. Right when I pressed the brake pedal to start the truck, it was on Auto 72* A/C, for about 3-5 seconds I got the "mach 5" takeoff sound, accelerator pedal rattling. Truck was not hot at all. It went away after 3-5 seconds.
This has never happened to me before and I have 4,000 miles on the R1T but now has happened twice in the past few days with the compressor "taking off."
Bummer, I visited Dallas SC and they kept all next day delivery cars indoor in air-conditioned workshop area. The Dallas SC delivery area is outdoors and given the weather forecast Tushar should be good to go.
