Charging Fault - Truck will not move

Ugh so truck is dead at a charge point, claims charging fault, truck thinks something is plugged in but it’s not. Charging door will not close, truck will not go into drive / reverse.
To add to the fun we’re 270miles in the mountains WHILE towing a trailer. Thankfully I already dropped the trailer at camp site, this was a “ahh wife is getting a few things let’s top up” charge.
I knew the 4th would be an adventure but this is not what I had in mind.
Truck is doing another sleep in the hope that it will fix itself.

Yeah riv support is working it. Tow and rental etc. We’re all just hoping it can get figured out after a nice sleep. They’ve been great right now.

Have you done a reboot?

I assume you already tried a hard reset? Something you could try is changing the ride mode and ride height. I doubt it will help but this allowed me to get back in drive when I was stranded in park with a brake fault and nothing else worked.

Sorry, that sucks. We got stranded on Memorial Day weekend with the brake fault 4 hours from home so I know how you are feeling right now.

Rivian did do their best to take care of us considering it was on a Sunday and it was hard to find a towing company that would come to us.

I wonder if something physically broke off in the charging port? Does that happen?
