any recent waypoint experiences members would like to share? I just plotted my route WI to SF, NM and not even a RAN waypoint was part of the plan. Same for WI to NV. SAD!

I used the Waypoint charger in Prineville, OR a month or so ago, assumed it was free and a nice place to take my dog for a walk with a park across the road. Sadly I didn't read the fine print and it was actually $0.01/kWh with a $10 connection fee...

I also used one recently at Cape Lookout State Park in OR, this one is actually free but only 6.6 kW. At least it was a fine place to sit a and make a pizza and then go for a walk on the beach.

I think the 1772 handles all the communication for DCFS so plug and charge would not work without being able to id the vehicle.

Same thing happened to us last Friday in Prineville. Just wanted to check out the charging station on our way back for a couple of days car camping in the Ochocos and ended up with a charge costing $10.01.

Didn't read the fine print. Duh!
