I was looking for a 2nd set of 22" wheels to mount snow tires on. Since the gear shop advertises a set that also includes tires and labor for $4,300, and the tires on their own cost around $2000, I expected that without the tires and without labor it should be somewhere around $2300 - $2,800.
Rivian quoted $4,100. Apparently they value the tires at only $50 per corner. For that price, I might as well order the gear shop package and put the tires into storage for the next 20K miles. I called the phone number on the estimate to try to confirm that they understood the request (the estimate contains no detail about what is included, just a price) and all they would say is that the see the same info I do (a price and nothing else).
Has anyone looked into purchasing wheels without tires from Rivian? Did they also quote you nearly the same price as the gear shop package.
