I ordered matte TWRAPS, just waiting on vehicle to install them in. However, here is a video from a company (Abstract Ocean) offering tempered glass option.

You sound like you have a short driveway. I heard he had a charger installed at the road because he needs to top up by the time he reaches the mailbox.I take it pretty slow backing into my garage as well but it rarely takes two hours
Wow, looks very nice. This might be the one.I ordered matte TWRAPS, just waiting on vehicle to install them in. However, here is a video from a company (Abstract Ocean) offering tempered glass option.
It's probably just the pictures but does it also reduce the "crispness" of the display a tiny bit? The text in particular seems a bit fuzzier with the protector.![]()

The matte finish does knock down the "pop" of the screen quite a bit but it does a great job of diffusing light as you can see. It also feels great and makes fingerprints significantly less noticeable. Very happy with the results.
It does, but that's just part of having a matte finish honestly and should be expected. That's what I was referring to with the "pop" where the screen doesn't have that same clarity and brightness so there is certainly a trade off. By covering the light sensor it does appear that the automatic brightness is accounting for it by increasing brightness pretty significantly compared to the "naked' levels. It's probably just the pictures but does it also reduce the "crispness" of the display a tiny bit? I was thinking of doing the same thing. I put the Spigen protector on my wife's ID.4, and it was easy, fit well, and feels good. Pictures here seem to imply the same for the R1. I definitely like the matte finish for fingerprints.I have the TWRAPS protectors and they had a shiny black trim around them, which I removed, since I didn’t like it. They also have cut outs for all of the sensors.
The protectors work well, but they are a plastic film so they don’t feel the same as touching the actual glass….they have a rough/grainy feel to them. Based on this, I may eventually upgrade the center screen to glass and leave the plastic on the other two screens since they are never touched.
Where did you come to rest on the matte screen protector? Thanks!Gonna give it a few more days to see but the screens without the protector don't seem to get much glare stock.
I kept it on, got used to it mostly. There are still some random times where the sun will hit it just right and I have to use my hand to block the sun.Where did you come to rest on the matte screen protector? Thanks!
For me, it was solely for the matte finish. The glare off of the screen can be pretty painful in the right (wrong?) light. What is the purpose of the glass protector for the display screen on Rivian?
Its not like you're going to drop the center display, right?
I have it on my iPhone and has save the screen from breaking when dropped by taking on the dame onto the protector screen so I get the value for the phone or portable device.
Is it just to get a mat finish? I never have put one on the Tesla we've owned for years own and has no screen damage.
It takes you two hours to back out of the garage?Just ordered mine. That glare is maddening when I’m trying to back up into the garage at 3-5pm.
