@jmchilders - congratulations! If you have a moment, can you confirm that the rear seats still fold up on the driver's side and there is storage available? I know it's supposed to just be a chemistry change so this should not have been impacted, but curious.

Same form factor, the other max pack delivery that turned into a 120K asking price had a photo which showed the same storage, nothing compromised.

Cost. The current quad motors are sourced from Bosch and (presumably) much more expensive than their in-house designed motors (Enduro) which are used in the dual.

Maybe, but more likely they need the differentiation in dual + the extra paltry battery increase. Max plus quad would only be a 20 mile EPA difference. My guess is they want to steer away from outsourced motors in general.

That's a screencap of the R1T QM first drive. AFAIK he doesn't have a Max Pack yet, but I'm looking forward to his 70mph range test.

I think this is the best EV range test we have right now. Wind is easily corrected for and if you live in a temperate climate, temp isn't a huge factor. Especially if you do there/back in the same day morning/afternoon.

Thank you! Nothing special to indicate it’s a Max Pack, but it was badged for dual motor with no yellow and gray brake calipers.

I'd really love the answers to these questions. I'm concerned that OOS Kyle hasn't hit us with anything yet. I bet they threatened to brick his R1T.....

I just locked my max pack configuration.

I'm absolutely loving the truck! I'm having it ppf wrapped this week and I can't believe how much I miss driving it. I'm driving my son's "very nice" Jeep Grand Cherokee that I have aways loved when I get to drive it, but no longer. Driving it now I feel a bit out of control and the ride seems very harsh and loud.

I just recently installed the Rivian wall charger, so I'm just now able to charge it all the way. Charging to 80% now I am getting 331 miles. I've only put 906 miles on the truck so far and I haven't done any road trips yet. I don't really plan on utilizing DC fast chargers and will do most of my charging at home. My reason for wanting the Max Pack was that most of my travel with the truck will be day trips to Nashville, Birmingham, and Tuscaloosa where I can get there, do all the driving around I want, then drive back home on a single charge. For trips to Atlanta or Memphis I usually stay overnight, so I can charge all night at the hotel.

Sorry that I don't have more info for you. I'll update when I get out on the road.

Thanks for the update. I get my R1T Max pack on Tuesday, getting it wrapped also. I live in the pacific Northwest, so sanding on the road for winter is a problem is not wrapped. I will also post updates. My guide told me I am one of the early Max Pack customers also.

My delivery is scheduled for a week from tomorrow - on Saturday Nov. 25th. Can’t wait and I hope to be able to give something back to this forum once I get it and start putting some miles on it.
