Teslas are becoming more common down here, but still have not seen another Rivian. Anybody else south of the border?

Tesla is taking over everywhere! Lots of Rivians here in Maryland. Heck there are two same spec as mine within 50 miles that I know of. Not sure about the PNW.

Oh, Rivians are thick in the PNW. But I'm spending less and less time up there in the winter.

Tesla superchargers are ubiquitous here in Mexico, and we are even getting our own factory. ?

When Rivian sponsored Ewan McGregor's Long Way Up, I had expected them to pursue more of a presence down here, but that has not come to fruition yet. I have never run into another Rivian down here.

They filmed Catch 22 where you are RIP. The original with Alan Arkin. I remember seeing the runway and parts of the set still there decades ago. I remember the water in the Isla Tiburon channel being so warm I'd have to get out. Nice spot.

Interesting about catch 22, I did not know that. I will have to catch the movie now lol.

As for water temperature, yeah, that is why I flee to the Pacific Northwest in the summer. The heat here can get pretty nuts.

It is also why I am bothered less than most about the Rivian not having a heat pump.

The airstrip doesn't look paved anymore. There were buildings. It still stretches to the sea and I marked the turn around apron.

That is about 8 mi from me. That area is pretty tightly controlled by the government, kind of hard to get into now. I have no idea why.
