Reminder: Just because the app update is out, that does NOT mean you can upgrade your vehicle software yet. Usually rolls out to the vehicle over the next few weeks in batches.

Are shortcuts a new thing for the app or have they been around for a while? I’ve been wanting voice control to unlock and popping the frunk. Now I can! Game changer.

Unfortunately, the car nav is so bad I sill use Waze, so this doesn’t help. Only thing that makes me feel better is our Tesla’s nav is also terrible and often wrong.
That said, I do not want CarPlay, etc.

Yep. Waypoint routing would have been *REALLY* nice. I was just glad the improve tow mode got added during my trip.

Now I just want to be able to plan trips *for tow mode*. Because the planning ahead is useless when it tries to have me go 230 miles between chargers. (I found A Better Route Planner with a vehicle profile set to my efficiency when towing did a great job. It sure would be nice if there was some better ABRP-Rivian integration!)

That has to be coming, it is the only thing that makes sense for them to purchase ABRP.

Can you tell me how to update on my iphone? I can't even tell what version of my iphone App is. It usually has 'about' button where it displays the version number but I can't find in my iphone App.

Just go to the App Store and search for Rivian. The “Open” button should show “Update” if you haven’t updated yet.
