I hate to mention this, but since two updates ago my vampire drain also quadrupled from 0.5kWh/day to up to 2kWh/day or even higher. Rivian even sent a mobile tech out to pull logs and send them to HQ.. the result was "all systems are operating normally". When I asked if vampire drain suddenly quadrupling after an update indicates the update broke something, Rivian just replied "all systems are operating normally" again.
They might be a great innovator company, but when something goes wrong sometimes they just bury their head in the sand and ignore the facts.
Is this increase noticeable equally when the truck is plugged in and unplugged for you? I feel like vampire drain has changed for me as well but I haven’t taken any measurements.

I only use my truck one or two times/week so it sits unplugged until vampire drain has taken it's toll and it needs a recharge again. So, I have only noticed the 4X drain increase while unplugged.

And what do you expect them to do? its within their specs so they won’t go thru every truck to track down every watt.
So vampire drain suddenly increasing 4X it's previous level on my vehicle right after an update is nothing to note? No possibility that the update broke something right?

If your ICE vehicle always got 20 miles/gallon and you brought it in to the dealership for some service work then it suddenly decreased to 5mi/gallon you wouldn't question it?

And, since they told me "all systems are functioning normally" I have not pursued it any further because they if everything is "normal" there is nothing else they can/will do for me.

Really curious to hear about your numbers and whether that’s with the “lock only” at home PaaK option or not. Though probably better to move this to the vampire drain thread.

Oh I’m sure the update changed the vampire drain but that’s going to happen With constant updates. And it’s not the same as an ICE mpg. you have to start an ICE car to get the mpg.

In a nutshell my vampire drain went from 0.5kWh/day with my R1T in Shipping Mode/never had PAAK setup and my fob in a Faraday box to 2kWh/day after an update under the same conditions. Rivian saw nothing wrong with that 4X drain increase.

Right now, I change the seat position... the Remember button pops up, I press it and it just dims and stays that way until the window times out. No settings are saved. On .42. Did the hard and soft resets - nothing. Did the seat and wheel calibration - nothing. What's next? 12v hard reset? .46 firmware????
Having same issue, hoping new update will fix that, but Ill wait until I know coast is clear. If doesnt fix it Ill put in a ticket

Same problem. I put in a ticket and they added it to my spare tire mobile ticket but Im not sure what a tech will see in person. I turned off lock @ home and now set to stay unlocked at home (which I like better) and that seems to reduce VD

2kWh / day is on par with what I seen (not in shipping mode). My guess is they moved some of the functionality causing this into shipping mode…which would be silly because one of the major points of shipping mode is to not drain the battery.
