Hood open button not working after latest OTA

anyone experience the hood open button on front of truck not working to open? it does close the hood when pressed. i changed locking/unlocking to "all doors" thinking that might be it..........

Mine button seems to still work fine. I stopped using app a while back as I would find my frunk open sometimes hours later from some residual command I figure. And I narrowed that down to only happening after a app command.

Mine works just fine on 2023.46.0.

Make sure all your doors are unlocked. The hood button, the gear tunnel button, and the tonneau cover button will not work if you've only unlocked the driver's door.

thanks! i figured it out. i had switched to "unlock drivers door" on park so of course that's all that was unlocked! easy to go back to "unlock all" and bingo. i was once again able to be Frunked upon getting out.

So interesting thing is that after the last update I noticed that I no longer have to unlock the truck to open the gear tunnel and the frunk. As long as either the fob or phone are with me, I can just hit the buttons and open the frunk or gt. Wish that the door handles worked in a similar way. Anyone else notice this? Has this been around for a few updates and I just missed it?

I just tested my R1T. It's locked. I can walk up to it with my FOB and I see the tail light flash so it knows I'm there. But my hood, gear tunnel, and tonneau buttons don't do anything unless all the doors are unlocked.

I don't have proximity unlock enabled with my phone or FOB. I guess it could be different with proximity unlock.

Hmmm, thanks for checking. I have it set to “lock only” at home. I wonder if that has anything to do with it.
