I can’t tell if these posts are sarcasm, but I’m guessing the left turn signal is on and the picture caught the left taillight mid-blink. The R1T seems to be at an intersection in that pic and the taillight is functioning in the other pic, so it just makes sense that we’re just seeing the blinker in action in that pic.

Likely LED strobe/flicker effect with cameras. That said, I've seen a brand new model X with a non-working taillight assembly before.

WITW... this reminds me of Tesla using that cheap home depot grade wood to stabilize parts in the Model Y. At least these are pre-production.
